Galeries du Diamant are expert diamond dealers from Antwerp, specialist cutters and jewellery designers. Since 1929 the house has been owned by three generations of the same family.
As a family business, one of our enduring values has always been excellence. As jewellers, that’s meant uncompromising gem selection, incomparable design and unparalleled craftsmanship.
Philosophy
We buy rough diamonds supporting small local producers in Africa and South America who use traditional, non-invasive manual techniques of extraction.
Our experts select rough diamonds of the most exceptional quality and with conflict-free and traceable origins. Galeries du Diamant adheres to the Kimberley Process, ensuring that exploitation plays no part in our exquisite jewellery.
CUT AND CERTIFIED IN ANTWERP
Our diamonds are meticulously cut by hand in Antwerp, the world’s diamond capital.
Diamonds are analyzed and certified. Each stone is laser-engraved with its unique certificate number invisible to the eye, but allowing its provenance to be traced.

Our Team
Our company is presided over by Charles Ziegler, the third generation of the jewelry and diamond dynasty from Antwerp. After learning his trade from his father, Charles Ziegler established himself in Antwerp, the world’s capital of diamonds, for 45 years. Built on a reputation of transparency and excellence, he established diamond mining operations in Africa and South America and traded in rough diamonds across the world.
Since 2014, the team has been expanded by a new generation of young and passionate jewelry professionals led by Alexia Sorokina. Alexia started her career in jewelry at 18 years old in Antwerp and developed a fascination with diamonds and gemstones. She worked for 5 years in artisanal mining in Africa and then graduated as a gemmologist from the prestigious Institut National de Gemmologie in Paris.
Alexia oversees today the operations of our Parisian boutique advising our clients and transmitting our values as a family business.

Galeries du Diamant boutique is located in the heart of the Opera district, the epicenter of Parisian luxury.
This beautiful and clean space has been conceived as a perfect showcase for our collection of diamonds and gemstones.
You can visit us by appointment to try on rings and discuss your engagement ring project with our diamond specialist. You can also meet our Diamond Concierge, who will help you to plan your perfect Parisian proposal.
